We offer the following suggestions for those who would like to appreciate the indefinable charm of life in France.
The following itinerary offers one night in each Chateau with dinner and breakfast included.

1st day : Château de Saint Paterne


Château de Saint-Paterne

- Arrive at the Chateau de Saint Paterne where you will be welcomed by Ségolène and Charles-Henry de Valbray.
- Pre-dinner drinks in the Salon or the park, depending on the time of year.
- Night in a three star bedroom
- Breakfast

After breakfast the young owners, Segolene and Charles-Henry de Valbray, will show you around their chateau which dates from the 15th century and which during the 16th century welcomed one of Henry IV mistresses Diane de Courtemanche. The Chateau de Saint Paterne is situated in the middle of a large, 15 hectare park where you will find the superb potager which provides all the vegetables for the chateau.


After leaving Saint Paterne we suggest the following choice of itineraries:
- Tour of the Perche region
- Discover the natural regional park of Normandie Maine
- Visit the old town of Alencon, the French capital of lacework followed by lunch at Saint Ceneri le Gerei, one of the most beautiful villages in France in the heart of the Alpes Mancelles
- A visit to the Haras du Pin : the Versailles of the horse world
- A visit to the Chateau de Carrouges (14th century)
- Or on route to les Briottières
- Visit to the Abbaye de Solesmes; followed by the Faienceries de Malicorne and the Sarthe Valley

Drive along the coast following the beaches of the Normandy Landings:
Juno, Omaha, Gold Sword
Visit the world-famous Mont Saint Michel and St Malo
Lunch at Mont Saint Michel or enjoy a seafood feast at Cancale

2nd day : Château des Briottières

Arrive at the Chateau de Briottieres where you will be welcomed by Hedwige and Francois de Valbray.
- Pre-dinner drinks in the Salon Vert or in the park, depending on the time of year Candlelit dinner (wines and coffee included)
- Night in a three star bedroom
- Breakfast

Hedwige and François de Valbray look forward to welcoming you to their 18th century Chateau. To make your stay more enjoyable you will find, within the 50 hectare park, the swimming pool, tennis court and bicycles all at your disposal.


On leaving Briottières we suggest the following choice of itineraries:
- Tour of Haut-Anjou
- A visit to the Chateau du Plessis-Bourre, 15th century and surrounded by a moat
- A visit to the national stud : Haras National de L'Isle Brillant
- A visit to the town of Angers where you will find the beautiful
- Apocolypse Tapestry within its Chateau
- A visit to the Cointreau distillery
- Lunch at La Salamandre in the Hotel d'Anjou
- A visit to the Chateau de Brissac: the highest chateau in France and lived in by the Brissac family
- Wine tasting of the Brissac wines
- A drive along the south side of the Loire to Saumur

- Visit the Chateau de Serrant: 16th century with a façade both beautiful and severe, it is classed as a "Lieu Exceptionnel" (3* Michelin)

3rd day : Château de Verrières

On your arrival to the Chateau de Verrieres, you be welcome by Yolaine de Valbray-Auger and her husband Thierry.
- Pre-dinner drinks served in the Drawing room or in the park, according to the season
- Candlelit dinner in main Dining room. (wine and coffee included)
- Night in a De Luxe room


Yolaine looks forward to welcoming you to Verrieres, located in the protected district of Saumur. You can leave your car at Verrieres and visit the historic centre by walk. Verrieres is a true witness to the life style and hospitality of the XIXth century, with its authentic period furniture and the beautiful plane trees of the four acre park.


On leaving the chateau de Verrieres, we suggest the following itinerary :
- A visit to the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud
- Return to Paris via Tours and stop on the way to visit the most famous Loire Chateaux of Ussé, Villandry, Chenonceaux, Chambord …
